According to the latest ICG Notification, recruitment is available for Navik (GD) and Navik (DB) entries. Here's a brief summary of the vacancy details:

Total Vacancies: Around 300+


Application Mode: Online


Notification Date: June 2025


Exam Month: Most probably in September/October 2025

ICG Eligibility Criteria - GD & DB Entry

Navik (GD):

  • Qualification: 12th pass with Math's and Physics from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 22 years (Born between 1 March 2004 to 28 February 2008)
  • Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates eligible.

Navik (DB):

  • Qualification: 10th pass from a recognized board.
  • Age Limit: Same as GD entry.
  • Medical Standards: Eyesight 6/6, minimum height 157 cm, medically fit as per ICG norms.

ICG Syllabus - Updated for 2026

With the ICG New Notification Out, the syllabus for both GD and DB entries has been revised slightly.


Here's what to focus on:


For GD Entry:

  • Section I: Math's, Science, English, Reasoning, and General Knowledge
  • Section II: 12th level Physics and Math's

For DB Entry:

  • Section I Only: 10th standard Math's, Science, Reasoning, English & GK

Objective-type questions are given in each section. There is a negative marking of 0.25 per wrong answer.

  • Written Test (CBT)
  • PFT - Physical Fitness Test
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

Aspirants need to clear every stage to be shortlisted in the final merit list. Physical test is a 1.6 km run within 7 minutes, 20 squats (Uthak-Baithak), and 10 push-ups.


Important Dates (Tentative)

  • Last Date to Apply: Within 15–20 days from start
  • Admit Card Release: 10 days before the exam
